Pros

Co workers are wonderful people, have build a life time friendships. Work 37.5 vs 40 hour but you're paid for 37.5

Cons

Returned back to the office full time , absolutely zero flexibility to work from home which they announced they would allow WFH under certain conditions, which they have gone back on their word. Layoffs , people leaving the company and their positions are not being backed field. Our adjusters do 10x times the work vs other companies with little to no acknowledgment, absolutely no yearly bonuses like 99.9% of insurance companies give to employees. Christmas bonus is a joke. Health insurance is absolutely horrible l.

Pros

Absolutely no pros at all

Cons

I don't even know where to begin. When I first started with the company, it was great and the company promoted flexibility and being there for their employees including working from home. Since Brookfield bought out the company, it went downhill really fast. We were told they would leave us alone since they don't know how to run an insurance company and they interfered a year later. Forced to do 100% work in office while 50% of the company is permanent remote. There is 0 flexibility, and forced to use PTO time if you need to leave early for personal reasons. The culture has become toxic and the company just constantly want you to work hard and fast to make them as much money as possible, while we get little reward. Benefits have gone downhill, and there is no/little raise (expect less than $1 each year) and for employee appreciation day we just get snow cones as appreciation for working so hard. There is constant round of lay offs each month to help make the company more profitable. At this point I don't know if there will be a company/business left after the lay offs. Also, management doesn't care about you and am just a diversity hire for the company. Some managers just want to ride it out until retirement so they forced their employees to come in every day while others don’t care and some only come in once a week. Please stay away if you can!!

Pros

We used to have so many pros - great benefits, co-workers that were like family, felt appreciated.

Cons

Terrible morale now that the company has been bought. Every week there is a new email telling us how many people have been let go. Benefits for 2024 are terrible compared to what we’re used to. No one feels safe. We were told there were no plans to bring employees back full time and a few months later we were told we were all coming back to the office full time. Trust is gone.
