      More reasons to leave than stay

      Pros

      -You can usually expect a merit increase most years of around 2% to 3%. -8 holidays, 3 floating holidays, plus PTO that increases every 5 years.

      Cons

      -Company was bought out previously and instituted a full return to office after telling everyone we would remain a hybrid workforce. -Merit increases or cost of living adjustments do not keep pace at all with inflation. -Near monthly changes to policies and hiring practices. Some departments aren't replacing people that leave. -Frequent "budget cuts" to be more profitable for new owners -Lack of "clear" communication on direction of company. -Told not to worry but then you hear about "downsizing measures" and bringing in more automation that should make your job easier

      Able to network within the company

      Cons

      When doing exit interview even HR stated to me the company underpays. Management shakeup is horrible. If you are the squeaky wheel and complain you will often get what you want. Or of you are attractive. Company moving away from Galveston. Main focus on new building in Springfield.
