Pros

The company values their employees and treats them pretty well. Management constantly buys lunch for office staff has a thank you or just because they want too. Employees have access to a gym that the company pays for. Also recognizes people for their performance when deserved. They also train office staff and technicians very well. Most office staff are very knowledgable when it comes to pest control. The technicians are also trained constantly. The company is also very Green which is a plus. Also the company is constantly growing and in my opinion that will continue in the years to come which can bring a lot of opportunities for advancement (be patient). Also in regards to a previous review about maternity leave, it does exist it's short term disability. However paternity leave does not exist which is fairly common in this country.

Cons

Health insurance is awful. The cost per paycheck is crazy! I personally do not have insurance through the company, but looking at the cost I don't know how some people can provide for their families (downside of small businesses). Also as an office member, it seems technicians aren't included in many of our events which to me isn't very fair. Pto and sick days are the same which sucks. Also if the office were to close early or close for the whole day, hourly employees need to use pto or take a 2-8 hour hit in their paycheck. Management/salaried employees don't have this issue which is unfair. Also the atmosphere generally is very good, but sometimes there is anamosity. This sometimes can be caused by people in management roles, which is extremely inappropriate/unprofessional.

Pros

Laid back atmosphere, business casual dress, jean day on Friday, great healthcare coverage, breakfast & lunch is provided often, extra paid days off over Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Cons

PTO and sick leave are shared, smaller business that is growing so harder to move up positions, healthcare is expensive, pay is higher than minimum wage but doesn't reflect the worth of the employee, raises are hard to come by, if the office closes early there isn't compensation from the co. only from your PTO, no paid maternity or paternity leave, no work from home options except for one employee.
