Lots of hours by the pool, pretty easy summer job, get to meet a lot of different people, potential for promotions if you work hard, I learned a lot of great skills over the years.

Cons

Long days, a lot of traveling, money and supplies can be tight (which usually is because of a client), job training could be improved, need a better office staff who are more mature and responsible.

Your days in the summer revolve around beautiful pools and warm weather as you attend to the maintenance, safety, appearance, staffing, supervision, training of employees, water treatment, county inspections, board meetings, opening and closings of facilities and retention of service/new construction contracts and routine repair sales.

Cons

Poor work life balance during summer, so you must be willing to sacrifice most of if not all of your summers, for local communities.
