Pros
Great people, a very family like feel in many departments. Small enough that there aren't very many degrees of separation between you and the person who can help you accomplish the task at hand. Many jobs are shorter than the traditional 40 hours.
Cons
It sometimes feels like some departments work in silos. Projects are started and not completed before they are launched. No accountability approach, some other department will fix in down the road. If you are one of the "chosen" your career will progress; if you aren't then there aren't as many opportunities. Gaps in communication
