Pros

Amazing culture, colleagues are great people across the board. Leaders are all very empathetic people. The general level of competence is high. Remote work is common.

Cons

The company is downsizing US roles and shifting work to the new India location. It's early stages, remains to be seen how much this damages the company culture and execution.

Pros

Free Food and erratic cabs facility. Perfectly corrupt culture from hiring till promotions, may be the top ranked corrupt in private sector in Hyderabad

Cons

Utmost reliance on YES MAN and SYCOPHANTS culture which is formally published as Amgen Values. Fire people in and out giving reason that above Policy not followed. Already FIRED 10% in ONE YEAR and 15% LEFT by themselves in one year. Negative Job security, you can be fired at a back date itself. HR simply says that package was wrong in offer letter and overall remuneration is decreased as per company policy. If you have option PLEASE DO NOT JOIN, in case you don’t then FIND other option. You will become part of hell and will not be able to leave because of 3 months notice period. Your career will become OUTDATED by a decade in case you work here for a year.

Pros

Only Food Nothing else. Not Recommended.

Cons

I would not recommend working at Amgen India based on my experience. The work culture has serious challenges that need attention. There are visible conflicts among leaders, and instead of being handled constructively, these disagreements often spill over into the work environment. As a result, junior and mid-level employees tend to suffer the most. Decision making becomes inconsistent, priorities keep shifting, and teams are left dealing with the consequences of leadership misalignment. Another concern is the communication style. There is a noticeable amount of unprofessional discussion and indirect communication, which creates confusion and reduces trust within teams.
