I started long ago when all benefits were free-employees paid nothing for medical benefits! They started having employees contribute before I left but even that was nothing compared to what other companies have their employees pay for medical! In addition the medical benefits I had with Amica are better than most companies there was hardly ever a time where I was billed to pay for portions of medical treatment. Amica is truly a company with integrity and high ethical standards and that spills over into their claims handling and processes. They care about their employees and their customers. I found claims handling very easy with Amica as the mindset was truly that the customer comes first. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind why Amica wins the JD Power award for excellent customer service year after year! When you handle claims with the customer satisfaction at the forefront everything else falls into place! I always felt that Amica cared about me as an employee and valued my work there. You can't say that about a lot of employers.
