Pros

Ampere benefits from the experiences of its leaders, and does a great job imparting those throughout the organization. As an experienced candidate, it is a great place to make an impact, because making decisions quickly is its superpower. In order for decision making to be a superpower, Ampere has to rely on your intuition you've acquired, and your experience to avoid issues. If you are starting a career, you come in making a difference, finding willing supporters, and still make incredible impacts. Even interns regularly report out their findings (they are full fledged team members), learn to support their information with data under scrutiny, and those interns come back to become employees.

Cons

As a start-up, benefits such as sabbatical aren't available et.

Pros

1) The people and the community - I love working with my team and enjoy the comradery of the office. 2) Focus - the whole company works together towards a common goal. There are no competing agendas or conflicting incentives 3) Challenge - the work is interesting and challenging. It is rewarding to solve complex problems with a great team of people. 4) Ownership - Each person has a job to do and responsibilities. We don't step on each other's toes and your contributions are immediate and valuable.

Cons

1) Uncertainty - Ampere is breaking into a well established market against strong incumbents. Success is not guaranteed. While I think the team is competent and capable, some people might prefer an environment with more stability.

Pros

A nimble semiconductor startup; moves fast in a field that is known for moving slow. Leadership knows what they are doing, and they are sharing their experiences to grow the next generation. Culture is great, very high psychological safety.

Cons

Challenges will arise as the company grows. Can the culture remain in-tact? Will new managers continue to create opportunities for new employees? Will Ampere continue to lead the industry in diversity in hiring?
