      Unfortunately caring about education isn't enough, a company needs to make a profit to survive too. Communicate with all involved.

      Pros

      Before the company's division merged, it was great, working in the Tablet division. It was small ~100 people and there was a great work atmosphere. The people that I interact with on a daily basis are great to work with, friendly and helpful.

      Cons

      After the merge of the divisions, the tablet division became a little dismantled with little direction on where the company was going. It was hard to know who the people were from other divisions and generally hard to work with them, as no-one was really promoting a way for us all to work together.

      Pros

      I really like most of the people there. While some great people have moved on, there are still many who really care about the mission and work hard to make Amplify successful.

      Cons

      DevOps is an unmitigated disaster. No joke. It's really bad. In general, Amplify has pretty much pillaged they're friends at NewsCorp. So much so that NewsCorp has decided to pawn us off on another buyer. Amplify tried to do too much at once and spread themselves too thin. They weren't wise with the money they were given and now the company is suffering for it.
