Pros

Actually agile. (No BS structure like scrum, SAFe, etc.) We use Shape Up to determine engineering work and dev teams are self-organizing

Cons

Lots of cooks in the kitchen

Pros

It was nice to see how our future adults learn and what their education system is like.

Cons

I wasn’t able to do what I can for the kids that needed help and was told that there was nothing I could do. These kids need more than just 30 minutes a day of tutoring, and that is completely disregarded even when there’s a child that’s in that grade for a second time. And on top of that, the pay wasn’t enough to care as much as you should since you’re only paid for the required amount of time for the students not what you actually give.

Pros

Most team members are really nice and helpful

Cons

Leadership constantly changing during busy time of year-- no consistency and lack of appreciation for support team. No real growth or career opportunities. Grossly underpaid for position
