Pros

Great place to start out and grow. There is a very collaborative environment which is conducive to learning. Because it's a smaller company, upper management is a lot more involved in the day-to-day and are more willing to recognize talent. Plus, the hours are pretty great.

Cons

Smaller company with smaller clients Benefits are not great

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad you've been able to enjoy the collaborative, learning-focused environment and the regular engagement with our upper management teams. As a private company and recent winner of Crain’s 100 Best Places to Work in NYC, we are continually striving to bring our employees the best work environment and employee benefits available. We've conscientiously expanded health benefits for our employees over the past 2 years in the face of increasing premiums and high medical deductibles. We cover 100% of our employees out-of-pocket deductible expenses, a unique benefit in the marketplace for an organization of any size. This increased healthcare offering, along with 401K matching, quarterly wellness initiatives (e.g. in-office massages), commuter benefit programs, weekly sponsored fitness classes, and unlimited vacation are all part of our continued re-investment in our people. We are always looking for more ways to show our employees how much we appreciate them and will continue to expand our benefit offerings.

Pros

coworkers are nice, supportive, and generally seem to want contribute to making products better for the clients. their is a fairly clear management structure that attempts to help clarify issues.

Cons

low salary especially for new york, i had to work 3 jobs just to pay my bills, i wouldn't recommend unless you have family support or a hidden fortune ! i spent more on commuting and food than i made at work. uses interns as a cheap labour source, very little chance for promotion or full time work.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience as an intern with us. We're so glad you felt positively about your supportive, dedicated coworkers – we work hard to make sure interns feel welcomed and that our training program prepares them excellently for the digital marketing workforce. We're sorry you felt negatively about the fact that our internships are unpaid and that you were not hired at the conclusion of the program, though. We do provide interns with alternative benefits like 100% reimbursement for transportation as well as free fitness classes at many of the boutique gyms in the neighborhood. We also support flexible intern work arrangements so career seekers can take advantage of the training while balancing other responsibilities. And though we have no obligation to hire interns at the conclusion of the 14-week program, when entry-level job openings become available we generally look to fill them with past interns. In fact, since we began our formal internship program we've ultimately employed 38% of interns who had completed college level degrees and our program, and the other 62% who were actively looking to seek a career in digital were employed within the industry; 90% were employed no later than 1 month after the internship ended! If you're a past intern looking for a position in digital marketing, please reach out — we're always happy to refer our past interns to our clients and partners seeking candidates.

Pros

Having worked in some really awful environments, I can fully appreciate everything I have here at Path. Management makes a concerted effort to continually make improvements to the perks and create a family culture. From unlimited vacation days, to company parties, to weekly fitness outings paid for by the company, to summer Fridays, I know that happy employees are just as important as happy clients to them (and happy clients are very important). The work that we is done here is at the top of the industry. 100% of the interns who have completed the internship program are employed within a month, which says a lot about Path's reputation and the quality of the work. Employee retention rates seem to be high and improving, as is client retention which makes for a stable environment. The structure of the teams makes it easy to rely on co-workers, especially with personal accountability being a top quality in employees. I've never heard "that's not my job" said by anyone, as being a team player is vital to success here.

Cons

Long hours - but the unlimited vacation policy helps offset that.
