Great opportunity for professional growth
Pros
I worked for the federal government for over 10 years and prior to that was enlisted in the Navy. The federal government gave me the opportunity to work my way up through IT Program Management. After multiple years as a Program Manager for Enterprise programs I felt I needed another challenge. A little over four years ago I started with Amyx as a PM for a small program. Within that role I was able to learn Project Management from a vendor side of the government. Mentoring from Amyx leadership was outstanding, every part of the organization was willing to help me with anything I needed to be successful in my program and my career. Amyx also allowed me to learn the business and gave me opportunities to grow the company and grow professionally. I touch most parts of our organization at Amyx but am constantly, learning and improving. I feel truly blessed to start with a small business that allows its employees to grow and become whatever they want.
Cons
No major cons with the company, we are in the service provider business and under the scrutiny of timelines and performance. At times like any job it can be stressful and demanding, but it pushes you to be better. So really for me this is another pro.
