Pros
As a seasoned veteran of Anaplan now, it is a very different place to when I joined. Whilst some of the creature comforts of a booming tech business have gone, we now, finally, have direction with leaders who have a vision that is shared openly. There have been some changes, with more to come, but it is a place where you can influence, make a difference, and end the working week feeling like you have accomplished and achieved. The people make the company and at Anaplan there is a real mutual respect for each other across our global footprint.
Cons
With change comes some resistance. The business is not what it was, culturally, and there is a sense of a reset going on. 2023 has been brutal in part to right-size the ship and it has not been a happy place at certain points. Whilst not enjoyable, it has been absolutely needed so Anaplan can set course for a profitable future.
