Pros

The work is challenging, co-workers are brilliant, wonderful culture, exposure to a wide variety of industries, good technology.

Cons

Expect change: Anaplan has evolved and grown from a pre-IPO tech firm ... then a publicly traded growth company ... then a buyout by a private equity firm refocused on profitable growth.

Thank you for your review. I’m delighted to hear that you have had a great experience with the challenging, interdisciplinary nature of your work and with your coworkers. Anaplan has been through a lot of change, but our resilience is proof that we can adapt and overcome it together. This is why resiliency is one of our new values. Our CEO and Executive Committee are committed to frequent and transparent communication with employees around the company strategy and progress toward our goals so that we can adapt together and turn change into our advantage. Pros

Decent pay Great collaboration among colleagues Solid benefits package Flexibility

Cons

Management was great prior to the acquisition. The new leadership team lacks diversity (all white and mostly all male), cultural competency and seem to only care about profit, not employees. Profitability is important but employees are being sacrificed. The culture is changing hard and fast.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Collaboration and flexibility are fundamental to our culture, so it’s great to hear that that has been your experience at Anaplan. The shift in the SaaS industry from “growth at all costs” to sustainable growth and profitability is one we take seriously to protect our company, our customers and partners, and of course, our employees. Operational efficiency and effectiveness are part of our strategy to achieve this, and so is building a winning culture that drives collaboration, inclusion and belonging. The Executive Committee and I remain committed to our DE&I goals, and we are working closely with numerous teams and partners to keep moving the needle. We look forward to sharing more with employees soon about how we’ll build on Anaplan’s existing DE&I strategy. We just launched new initiatives where employees play a central role in evolving our culture. We are also creating more opportunities for our employees to connect and collaborate. Feedback is integral to achieving this, so I encourage you to share your ideas and concerns with your manager, EC member, HRBP, or directly to me. - Carey Pellock, Chief People Officer
