      Fast-paced environment with lots of opportunity

      Pros

      Anaplan has been through a tremendous amount of change over the past 3 years, and it has not been the easiest environment for employees. However, the current leadership team set a solid strategy and has been successfully pushing the company forward. It continues to be an incredibly fast-paced environment - if you're looking for a lot of work-life balance, this is not the place for you - but the amount of work to be done means there is plenty of opportunity for you to raise your hand, try something outside of your job description, etc. There is a lot of momentum in the business - it should be a wild (but exciting) few years!!

      Cons

      There is not a lot of opportunity to grow as a leader (from a people-manager perspective] because of the nature of the business being so focused on profitable growth. There is a lot of work to be done, so it can certainly feel overwhelming at times - but it's also the nature of the PE-backed SaaS landscape.

      Pros

      Great place to work and fantastic leadership. I feel seen, heard and respected. A company that rewards its people for working hard. A job that is both challenging and rewarding is hard to find.

      Cons

      Most of my concerns come from others not being responsible for their work or taking accountability but this exists everywhere.

      Pros

      The challenge of the market makes everyday really fun and interesting. It's not a monotonous place to work. The product is really cool and helps me get my job done and make smart decisions on a daily basis. The autonomy and trust that leadership has in their people is encouraging and allows me to add creativity in my role. Access to leadership and understanding the vision makes it easy to feel supported with the decisions I make. Very clear message and strategy that feels easy to align to. I feel like I can take a few hours off for an appointment and my manager trusts that I will get the work done - Anaplan is not a place where micromanagement happens.

      Cons

      I can't think of any major ones. Maybe that we are both an email and a slack culture, so communication happens in a lot of places and can sometimes be hard to keep up!
