Pros

As I celebrate my 2 year Ana-versary I reflect upon my time here. I got hired during the pandemic and never stepped foot in the office from my interview in January 2020 until December 2021. And despite the challenge of being onboarded during a pandemic with social distancing, and remote work, Anaplan did is exceptionally well. And everyone I have met at Anaplan has a generosity of spirit and a sincere willingness to help others execute their roles. The leadership bends over backwards to be transparent, communicative, and compassionate.

Cons

Anaplan experiences tremendous growth, so sometimes it is hard to keep up with the pace of work. It can be difficult to get processes in place to help manage the workload because you are too busy managing the workload.

Pros

Pockets of good people decent benefits good product some of the new leadership on the director level is promising

Cons

Culture. The focus on the sales teams at this company is starting, especially from the CEO. We gave our top sales person a brand new Porche in addition to a very generous commission check, OVER 3 MONTHS before anyone else got a cent of their bonus. Don't get me wrong, sales are very important, especially at a young public company like Anaplan. But the fauning over our sales people, especially at all hands meetings, while other departments barley get any recognition (if any). Also there's a lack of clarity around RTO and Compensation for non-sales persons. Speaking for myself, I'm still doing interesting and challenging work, and thank God I have a really good line manager. But if I didn't have that relationship. I think that I would certainly be on the hunt for a new gig.
