Pros

Great product that is actually solving some real world problems

Cons

- Anaplan has no feedback culture and as a result there is no accountability among people in managerial roles - If your manager dislikes you for any non-work related reasons (prejudice/bias/personal dislike) the only way for you to keep your mental sanity is to find another job - HR is powerless and will not provide any assistance - The company preaches inclusivity and diversity in company meetings, but that is it. It is just a metric and there is 0 effort to bring this into the company DNA

Pros

Product is interesting and excellent Huge customer appreciation and great customer list Focus on customer is high New sales leader is trying R&d so much better in last few years - more product out door Good benefits and decent pay Investment in people in technical roles

Cons

Sales team needs better leadership. AEs don’t know product, solutions or industry. It’s frustrating to have a great product but clueless people Need more focus in engineering managers and collaboration between teams. UK teams don’t like anyone outside UK. Inability to get together is difficult to do architecture work

Pros

Great focus on wellness and mental health. Very supportive management, open to all ideas. Went public, matured into its post-start-up configuration, focused its business all the while maintaining its growth. While it's focused on delivery value to customers and investors, it does keep employee happiness in its sights.

Cons

Still a bit siloed and needs better internal communication, but its been through a massive rollercoaster market (IPO, Covid, partnerships with Google and Amazon). On the other hand, this could describe most SaaS companies nowadays.
