When management, including all of engineering executive team doesn’t understand engineering, you can just imagine the circular conversations, inability to attract or keep talent and failure to solve any real problems. This is a company stuck in neutral for years, with a panicky revolving door quality to the leadership. Turns out the lack of innovation can’t be solved top down, it’s a totally broken culture of zero accountability, toxic people and politics, and a failure to understand how other Silicon Valley companies scale.
