Pros
Some people are taking it easy with wfh. Lots of freedom to take care of errands, travel and put in a two hour day (usually meetings). Decent compensation for a 10 hour work week.
Cons
All the good people come and leave after maybe one year vest. Some people leave before the RSU grant because yolo and the management stupidity isn’t worth the cash. Many ICs are looking for new jobs but some good people are stuck because of H1B. Everyone talks about the churning of good engineers. They also give bad enggs big titles so they will stay. If you outstay everyone else you can be a star here too. The ceo is desperately keeping the company afloat with promises and hot air. Does anyone in management know tech? I doubt it but some of them could play Voldemort or Draco in Harry Potter. The cfo leaving recently is not a good sign. Shaky finances. Future of irrelevant tech for those unlucky to stick it out.
