Pros

• Great product with strong use cases, especially in Finance and Supply Chain. • Smart people across global teams. • Opportunities to work on enterprise-level accounts with big impact.

Cons

• Regional business performance has declined sharply, and unfortunately, the local leadership team has struggled to navigate tough times. • Instead of enabling AEs, the response has been excessive internal tracking, manual CRM tasks, and unrealistic KPIs — creating more admin than actual selling time. • Sales support functions (especially Alliances and Presales head) are only bragging, reactive, or misaligned. AEs are expected to carry the full burden of pipeline generation without adequate structural support. • Internal meetings and forecast reviews take up a disproportionate amount of time, yet field teams are still expected to hit high customer activity metrics. • There’s a tendency to shift blame to the field without reflecting on strategy or leadership decisions. Even strong performers have been let go. • Support from extended teams often depends on senior management visibility, which is not sustainable or scalable.

Pros

If you're into watching a slow-motion car crash of a once-promising tech company, this place is a front-row seat. Fantastic opportunity to learn how not to run a business — like a live MBA case study in implosion. Great for those who enjoy corporate theatre and performative values.

Cons

Ethics? Never heard of them. If you're into telling fairy tales to customers during the sales cycle, you'll fit right in. Diversity and inclusion… as long as you look, think, and act exactly like everyone else. Otherwise? You’re out. Real enterprise planning experts are actively shown the door. Why have people who know what they're doing when you can fill the room with yes-men who confuse Excel with innovation? Leadership is laser-focused on short-term vanity metrics and exit fantasies. Long-term strategy? Please — that sounds hard. The product is no longer the hero — but who needs technical excellence when you’ve got aggressive sales targets and smoke machines? Culture is toxic, morale is low, and trust is nonexistent. But hey, there’s always LinkedIn.

Pros

Good people are working in IC roles, and resources and SMEs are available for collaboration. Slightly higher than the market rate for pay.

Cons

Anaplan has undergone many changes since being acquired by TB. They have implemented RIFs or quiet firings every quarter to six months. This, along with middle management prioritizing their own interests, has resulted in numerous tasks being added to employees' workloads and processes taking longer to complete. Many of the best SMEs, Sales Reps, and Leaders have departed. I would consider seeking employment elsewhere.
