Pros

A pay check. I loved Anaplan before Orlando Bravo ruined it. AP was one of my favorite places to work in almost 30 years. It’s dead, my colleagues and friends here are depressed and miserable now.

Cons

Imagine being eaten from the inside out. Parasitic Private Equity are gutting Anaplan. The new robotic ELT team brag about culture after firing the culture team. Forced return to work.

Pros

Good modeling tool for Sales Territory & Planning

Cons

Good at modeling only. Not a real EPM tool. Finance folks familiar with BPC, Hyperion, Host Analytics, should stay away. No self service reporting. No Financial intelligence, not scalable for Finance. Think of a 100 tab Excel worksheet with all of the associated problems and that is Anaplan. Executives are elitist that care less about employees.

Pros

Anaplan has some of the smartest people I've ever worked with in my entire career. The product is really great and the company will most likely have a successful IPO soon and make a lot of money.

Cons

Although the product is fantastic, but there are few people at the company that actually understand what Anaplan is. Absurd requests come down from the exec team on a daily basis. Internal processes from business operations to HR, are non-existent and there is very little interest from leadership to improve this. The best Anaplanners are quitting left and right, while incompetent management seems to do little to stop it. The professional services team is stretched very thin, overworked and severely underpaid. As a result the turnover is sky high. If I had to boil it down to the core issues, it's basically that Anaplan only cares about selling, everything else isn't appreciated at all.
