Not worth it

Pros

Fully remote, benefits, no one cares what you do as long as you make sales-some reps make real money, most wont

Cons

Everything else. This is a job you take to get some experience selling over the phone, and then get out ASAP. The product is subpar and shady, upper management changes compensation and policy multiple times a year, and the company has a TERRIBLE reputation amongst homeowners and contractors alike. The FTC recently opened a complaint against them for the practices they teach their sales org. Anyone considering working as an AE/Sales Consultant here, you're better off just becoming an SDR at a more reputable company that will teach you do things the right way-and probably pay you more as well. At Angi, you're going to be pushing a tough sale for a company thats so poorly run they create more hurdles for their reps then help them.

Pros

Remote work, good benefits, and good pay at the time

Cons

Unrealistic revenue goals while also increasing the costs to customers. For example, if you acquired a contractor for the customer and the price for the job was $10k then you were expected to add an additional 15-20% on top of the contractors cost. Also, you were pushed to talk the contractor down so you can get more money for the company and still charge the client more. Completely unethical company taking advantage of people who do not know about the construction industry. If you missed targets in the first month, then you go on a performance plan. If you are not on track by week 2, you got the option to quit or risk getting fired. They are 100% a numbers company. Meaning that you are just another number to them at the end of the day along with the customers. They only care about revenue and not helping clients.
