Very cut throat, only 6% of new recruits last a year, and even less after that. I was seen as someone with potential and lasted 6 months when 90+% of my training class of approximately 35 people quit. You have to call over 100 business owners a day hoping to get a sale, and basically force the majority of them to stay on the phone because apparently "they don't know what they need". Unless you aren't empathetic or can entirely tune out human emotions on command this job wouldn't be for you. This was one of the most mentally draining and unfulfilling jobs I have had. And it's all do to the kind of sales you have to put up with 8 hours a day.
