Pros

Excellent benefits and compensation; support of large corporation; many passionate employees; significant opportunity for advancement and entertainment; liberal corporate account use; stability of working for world's largest brewer

Cons

Actively undermining and lack of understanding of craft beer culture; few people above this level are 'craft beer people', applying boilerplate and macro beer principles, processes and marketing to a vastly different product and customer base; lack of market knowledge at higher levels; too many young, quickly promoted managers at headquarters; favoritism can be an issue

Pros

Quick Advancement if you are mobile. Sales training program places college graduates into mid level management positions.

Cons

Senior management applies a paralysis by analysis mentality. Senior management demands results, but often does not supply the means to deliver. Upward movement tilted away from experience and more to push trainees to higher positions. Bonus rarely gets paid out, often receiving full year targets half way through the year. Work/Life balance is preached, but is not followed. Region VP's are from outside the US for the most part, and do not understand US dynamics of day to day business and customer relationship needs.

Pros

Pay was pretty good and 2 cases of beer a month. Benefits were ok.

Cons

Outsourcing. No job is safe, blue collar, white collar, doesn't matter, they will find someone in India to pay 3 bucks an hour to do the job you earned a degree to get. Sr. Management is completely clueless about business in the U.S. with constant sales declines that they make up for by increasing price. Beer is made using substandard ingredients sourced from the cheapest farmers they can take advantage of by refusing to pay them 6+ months after receiving what they ordered. Employees are not listened to unless you kiss some Brazilian's rear end. The whole work environment is toxic, avoid at all costs.
