Pros

All the pros I have, were in the past environment that no longer exists. Former Procurement world was the a group of smart and aggressive leaders and an environment that you were given a lot of responsibility and learned a lot. You worked a lot but it was fun. Post reorg, the environment changed and is negative and all of the talent is leaving and no one knows what is going on.

Cons

Survival Mode. It is a mess. There is mass exits after a failed reorg. If you are really young, it could help you build a resume. If you have a good job, this isn't really the place to leave it for, not now at least. They need at least 2 years to get it cleaned up. Most people leaving were not going to stick around to clean up the mess that a few people created and that isn't paying off financially even.

Pros

This is a wonderful company to work for, especially for recent graduates. There's a very free and open environment. You don't work under heavy supervision. The hours are pretty flexible. You can work from home. There is plenty of free beer and happy hours! You can almost wear what you want. There's a great work-life balance. Also great semi-annual bonuses!

Cons

There is a dark, thick line between contractors and employees. AB makes it not only impossible to get a foot into the company, but if you're a contractor, they make it impossible to get hired on. There are also no benefits, etc. for contractors, so you don't love the company as much as the employees do. The online application process is impenetrable because of silly culture tests. Contractors play a very huge part in the business as a whole, yet, AB does not pay them nearly as much as they should. They also ignore opportunities to hire contractors on permanently.

Pros

Coworkers are friendly Management is helpful Free Beer Fun Work Events Benefits & 401K Start off with 2 weeks paid vacation

Cons

Beyond just selling beer and expanding the portfolio in all of your accounts. You are bombarded with tons of surveys, taking shelf set photos, rotating/rolling beer, updating pos & pricing, reorganizing the shelf and many more things. You have to do all this while seeing about 12 accounts a day and beating the cut off time for the selling day. It is unrealistic to pull off all these expectations. Having one person trying to tackle so many different things at once causes something to be neglected somewhere.
