Pros

What I like most about A-B is the fact that the company rewards it’s employees who are willing to accept challenges and push themselves outside of their own comfort levels. It has helped me achieve things that I may have otherwise not attempted to do in a different work environment. Each employee is considered an “owner” so they want you to dream big and bring big ideas to the table, and if you do, they are willing to put their money where their mouth is and invest in them. Opportunities are endless if you are willing to put in the work, and have a willingness to learn. In my five years here, I’ve held three different positions, which has given me the opportunity to be exposed to different functions within the company and make me a more well-rounded employee. While the company is very results driven, they have also made great strides in making sure each employee has a good work/life balance, or at least my area does. If I need to leave early to pick up my dog from daycare (don’t judge), I can do so without feeling guilty. At the end of the day, you are accountable for your own results, so if you get your work done, no one cares if you leave early or come in a late…here and there. My biggest pro is the PEOPLE. You will work with some of the smartest people in the industry, which elevates you as a person and employee because you are able to absorb the knowledge they bring to the table and vice-versa. And one cannot forget compensation and the added benefits. The compensation and 401K matching is solid. Plus, you get free beer each month and access to an excellent gym in St. Louis.

Cons

I would still like to see the company become a little more progressive with their work from home policy. From what I hear from my team is that if they were allowed to work from home at least one day a week, it would increase their engagement.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It’s great to hear that you enjoy and thrive in our culture, and that in your 5 years working with us, you have held 3 different positions that enabled and encouraged you to learn, grow, and collaborate with great colleagues by your side! Work life balance can be a challenge in a company like ours that offers a lot of ownership. While there can be certain constraints with work from home policies, we encourage leadership in each department to evaluate internal ways of working among each individual team.

Pros

Can choose which days you want to work week to week. OT after 8 hours of work. Time and a Half on Saturday, Double on Sunday (good luck getting a sunday)

Cons

Random layoffs. Will also call you on your scheduled day and tell you not to come in, which you aren't paid for. Will train on certain things but then be moved because a driver will come into the warehouse and what that position.

Pros

No pros what so ever. Especially at anheuser Busch sales of Hawaii Aiea.

Cons

Hands down the worst place I have ever worked. All management nationwide Could care less about their employees let alone their careers or personal work life balance. This company will do their best to keep you in the same role as long as possible. They will put off your development as long as possible. It is truly amazing how much across the company nationwide they could care less about their employees. Vehicle reimbursement is WAY out of date and does not reflect accurately in today’s current economic state, significantly low for the irreparable wear and tear you will put on your own car. They will time and time again fill Most upper management roles from different markets and relocate people and NOT promote from the local market. They ever changing KPI’s that they push on their front line sales people is enough to make anyone fatigued mentally. Ever changing .... as in by the time they tell you it’s 2 weeks into the month. By the time you make head way on the KPIs they have changed them already. Look elsewhere for employment, I assure you the allure of this beer company is not worth the negative impact on your day to day life as a result. As for the Aiea HI branch. Filled with absolutely the most atrocious individuals in the upper management roll.
