Pros
Good for entry level, and many managers are buddies of the CTO and lack technical skills, so interviews are easy, and job security for doers.
Cons
No standards or processes. PMO team doesn't exist. MDM process is flawed, standard data cleansing practices, NCOA or customer merge/purge are all missing. Nepotism prevalent, Silo driven, no team cross collaboration. Different team work on same task and produce different results. Insight team do not trust Data Services report/numbers. Most of the management team members are busy with new project presentations and acquisitions, so no time left to manage teams or fix the existing challenges.
