Pros

Collaboration with Senior Leadership: The opportunity to work in close proximity to senior leadership provided valuable insights and opportunities across different business areas of the agency, providing practical learning and skill development. Exceptional Design/Art Department: The design/art department stands out. Consistently delivering outstanding work and always willing to edit it to meet the vision. Just overall an excellent team to work with on projects. Learning and Skill Development: Despite challenges, there were opportunities for learning and skill development through observing executives and taking on new projects. Talented Colleagues: There are some great people still working there that harbor some seriously unappreciated talent. Value them, respect them, and reward them.

Cons

Auto-Centric Focus: The dynamics shifted when Auto took the front seat following the acquisition and subsequent brand merger with Sincro (formerly CDK Digital). Unfortunately, it felt like other areas of the business were sometimes overshadowed, with a notable emphasis on the automotive sector. Sales Accountability Issues: The organization faced challenges with sales accountability, impacting the overall effectiveness and cohesion of business operations. Overloaded Responsibilities without Pay Increase: Feeling overloaded with responsibilities without a corresponding pay increase, which seemed dependent on the direct manager. Lack of Advocacy for Employees: Inconsistency in managerial advocacy for employees' compensation, with reports of some managers guilt-tripping employees about their pay and needing more from them to justify their salary. Unprofessionalism and Workplace Culture: The workplace culture was marred by unprofessionalism, resembling a High School setting with gossip and drama circulating between departments. Lack of Leadership Culture: I've worked in a few different areas for various companies. From that experience, I can tell you that Leadership Culture matters. Part of a strong leadership culture is ensuring leaders align themselves with a company's core values and lead with them. HR: Everyone knows HR is not there to protect you but to protect the company. They will tell you that you should talk to your manager or them about these cons; however, they are part of the unprofessionalism here, which is why HR finds out about these issues here on Glassdoor after it is too late to keep an employee. This shows that the company is not serious about fixing the overall issue: the unprofessionalism, workplace culture, and lack of leadership culture.
