      Pros

      Ansys is making a great effort to stay at the cutting edge of simulation. They have the largest market share but continue to try to push the envelope.

      Cons

      Ansys is a large company and that can tend to slow internal processes down. In some areas there are too many management layers.

      Pros

      Good work environment, very nice people. As a mechanical engineer student, I learnt a lot being an intern at ANSYS.

      Cons

      The company is located in Canonsburg, half an hour from Pittsburgh. So it is not as convenient as living inside the city.

      Amazing people, great atmosphere, free coffee, good community, good management structure (in my experience), good spot for public transit (Thanks BlackBerry!)

      Cons

      Upper management, while charismatic, sometimes seem like they have more fun than do work
