Pros

Regardless of your experience, you're hired on the spot, only need to have graduated HS or have your GED, age is not a factor. Also they pay $19/hr.

Cons

It's a revolving door of new hires. No one ever really stays that long unless its their only option career wise ( they've been there 7+ years). You barely have to interview as most people I've spoken to were hired same day. Very desperate for staff which explains why most of the staff have a bad attitude, including the leads and supervisors. Some people are very lazy and work isn't distributed equally which can become very frustrating. This is the place to work if you're completely out of options or in school and need some extra cash in your pocket.

Pros

Will hire basically anyone if desperate for a job

Cons

Heavily relies on employees going above and beyond their responsibilities to stay afloat. Frequently will just close positions and shift responsibilities around when they can't find anyone to work it for long enough. Over the years have slowly reduced any sort of extracurricular budget, to the point management can no longer afford to do a bi-weekly pizza party, or even buy people cake for their birthday.

Pros

IT is the best department to be in, and don't get me wrong, it really depends on your manager and Omar is the best. Several things make this job great for me, 1 It is close to where I live so commute is reasonable and affordable, even before pandemic 2 The colleagues are just amazing, we had a lot of all hands on deck moments, and we had a lot of fun times together too. They are all willing to lend a hand when needed and you are expected to do the same 3 The work has real impact, both for internal staff and for external clients. You do see the difference you make by working hard and thinking out of the box

Cons

1 This is 24/7 production centric company so you do have to stand by all the time. I got 3am, 4am, 5am, and 6am phone calls, not all the time and it did happen often. 2 The expectation can be really high since we need to get to the core of problems quick and precise, there is always a time crunch feeling 3 The staffing of IT has been low historically so making things work is harder when you have lower than average staff
