Pros

* Managers and Supervisors are very welcoming. Willing to provide guidance and support needed for development. * Great remote working policy. * Providing necessary tools and tech for remote working. * Very systematic working procedures in place

Cons

* Job as an insurance broker is challenging. * Most clientele do not have much respect for the service level offered for insurances * Nature of the job depends on growing volume as price reductions for most clients happens after retaining the client for a few years.

Pros

Having Aon looks good on a resume

Cons

In May of 2020 Aon announced it would cut all employees pay by 20% until further notice. They claim this was done because they didn’t want to lay anyone off during covid. Management allowed you the opportunity to fight the 20% pay cut, all you had to do was provide your bank statements, stock information, and any other documents that showed how much money you have. Aon claimed they needed this information because they wanted to be sure that you did in fact need your full pay. After the pay cut many people at Aon had their workload doubled. This type of arrogance from Aon wasn’t limited to just that; it was in everything. Toxic work environment in most of departments.
