Pros

Good people, smart team members, flexible work hours, able to work remote and client focused teams

Cons

compensation sucks, review process is based on who you know and not how much value to bring to the firm, lack of diversity in many offices and leadership - still too white

Pros

I have been with AON for the past 5 years. A good company to learn about Health and welfare benefits.

Cons

There is NO honest communication from senior leadership about the current changes until you come to work to find out that you are being laid off. This makes for a very stressful, tense, and tumultuous work environment. There is also no room for advancement with the Aon Retiree Health Exhange and the pay could be much better. Over the past 2 years, there has been a decline in the amount of incentive income so, if you are considering AON, please do your research. There is also no engagement from Senior leadership to your direct report.
