Pros

Well branded company Large global network of internal resources to work with Many positions have flexibility to work virtual

Cons

Culture is that of a large corporation working in segmented business units (very different than the Hewitt culture I started with) Changes to the organization due to recent sale of Benefits/HR Admin & HR Tech Performance review process is a waste of time

Pros

Benefits are pretty decent and company is stable to ride through economic downturns. Peers are wonderful, supportive and knowledgeable at their jobs and pull together to support the organization.

Cons

Long-term employees have little opportunity for advancement. Company has a culture of hiring from the outside instead of building up existing employees or only promotes the same people again and again. Company has taken the approach of most large organizations with poor morale that one must "steer their own career" and falsely dangle carrots that taking on more/new different work will lead to advancement or salary increase.
