Good for a short time.

Pros

- Good vacation policy and benefits package. - Friendly office environment and people. Lots of really bright colleagues you can learn from. - Good team atmosphere most of the time.

Cons

- Lower than average pay, if they absolutely don't need to pay you more they won't. You will be given more responsibilities though and will be expected to volunteer for more under the guise of "being a team player". - Frequent work space moves. - Little to no advancement opportunities. Many upper positions will be filled by external hires before they promote from within. If you are not promoted within the first few years it probably won't happen later on. Be wary of promises of advancement that never come to light. - No ability to work remotely unless absolutely necessary. They want people in seats in the office. - You will be given far more than you can get done in a day and will find yourself skipping lunch or eating at your desk often to keep up. - Training is lacking and often you will become too busy to do it if it exists.
