No support from management

Pros

Paycheck and benefits. Having them, not the quality of them.

Cons

Management did not support the analysts in the field. Could not sign in to the intranet due to not having a company laptop. Could not access over the internet. Classes on the intranet were unavailable to me. When it came time for the annual performance review, I was told (on a scale of 1-5), no one gets above a 3. Then why bother with the review? Waste of time. Salary was limited to what the client wanted to pay, not performance based. PTO was always inaccurate on my pay stub.

Pros

Aon offers fairly competitive salary and bonus potential. There is an option to work from home part time if this is feasible in your role.

Cons

There are far too many levels of management in the firm. Important information and details get lost in translation between the various layers of management. The focus is more on process over production. Many of the processes are extremely inefficient. The medical coverage benefits are very poor. You would likely be better off finding private coverage on your own.
