Pros

Working at Aon presents many opportunities for mentorship and professional growth, particularly with learning technical skills. Along the way, you’ll experience a lot of fun working internally and externally. For example, there are many happy hours to be had for camaraderie and networking. Aon is a place to work and have a lot of fun.

Cons

With Aon not being very cut throat, loose hiring qualifications, and overly social work environment, don’t expect to be fairly compensated when compared against competing firms. Truth of the matter is that prior work experience or academic prowess have little to no merit. There is a set pay they’re willing to give irregardless of what you bring to the table, and that salary will most likely be well below industry average.
