McKinsey was brought in years ago to organize the business, which it sorely needed after years of almost-random acquisitions, but it went a bit overboard at applying a cookie-cutter approach that often did not apply to certain business segments. The company took the outsourcing idea to ridiculous levels. A poetic example: When I quit the firm after 14 years of service I learned that my exit interview was outsourced to another firm. Case closed.

Review and reward system is poor. Turn over rate reflects this. Come in high, because you won't get much higher. Internal processes arent smooth. Takes forever to get anything done for their employees. Upward mobility opportunities are very small depending on the office you work out of.
