No support from management

Pros

Paycheck and benefits. Having them, not the quality of them.

Cons

Management did not support the analysts in the field. Could not sign in to the intranet due to not having a company laptop. Could not access over the internet. Classes on the intranet were unavailable to me. When it came time for the annual performance review, I was told (on a scale of 1-5), no one gets above a 3. Then why bother with the review? Waste of time. Salary was limited to what the client wanted to pay, not performance based. PTO was always inaccurate on my pay stub.

Pros

Provided my own office space, gave me the opportunity to run risk analysis for their clients and I would perform one-to-one consultations with clients without manager's presence.

Cons

Compensation is medium for interns
