Pros
Great product and well ahead of the current market in its value proposition. A workplace culture that is hard to beat, and practiced core values that inspire healthy working relationships.
Cons
Apcera has a great product, but in some ways they have a big problem with ineffective leadership on several teams and some communication problems that punishes employees who show initiative. Engineering leadership scrambles to release deliverables on a set date basis, but with understaffed development teams this means little to no testing at crunch time. The CEO is hardly ever present and seemingly checked out. It's hard not to notice long-term staff leaving these past few months.
