Pay raises abysmal and upper management forgets about you
Pros
Travel around the US although mostly not scenic
Cons
Pay Opportunity for growth Increase of responsibility with no pay bump or incentive to continue Management I have worked with apogee for just under 3 years. In that time the highest percentage raise I have received was 3%. I asked other coworkers what percentage they received and I was told between 2-3%. This averages to about a $0.27 raise per year. This is well below the cost of living increases and makes the job more and paycheck to paycheck. There have been 4 people in less than 2 years that have left due to pay in a 12-14 person shop. It has been brought up to upper management only to be told to "Wait we'll see what we can do" while also in my case piling more responsibilities onto my plate with no pay increase or bonus. I don't recommend working for a company that speaks highly of the community they foster when they forget about a shop that travels the US to aid the US Military and it's allies in it's combat capabilities.
