      Pros

      Very good working entrepreneurial culture, particularly in the corporate development department -- young people, energetic, and easy going. The industry itself is rewarding, given you are working for an education company.

      Cons

      Very big large corporation -- and therefore, some bureaucracy when interfacing with other departments (especially legal department). Dispersion of operations (office in Chicago vs. headquarters in Phoenix) also is a challenge.

      Pros

      In terms of technology and well funded projects, Apollo Group excels. Reasonable benefits. The campus location in Phoenix is outstanding, although they did not plan for traffic very well.

      Cons

      They continue to suffer from internal management changes and disconnects between internal subsidiaries . Pay scall was consistantly on the low end.

      Pros

      A lot of new leadership over the past few years, outlook is promising. International expansion and domestic growth should continue and sustain profitability.

      Cons

      With so much leadership change, morale is low and many employees have become very disengaged. It is still unknown if they have finally formulated the right management team.
