      Feel good working for a company that contributes to society. Free education. Good people.

      Cons

      Constant change, reorgs, and layoffs over the last 7 years. Too many leaders pointing in different directions.

      Pros

      I worked with fantastic people who were very knowledgeable and truly cared about student success. The work life balance was great. You weren't expected to work insane hours. I fluctuated from 35-50 hours per week.

      Cons

      The industry of private ed is dying as public schools catch up with UOP/Apollo's distance learning model & technology. Almost the entire L&D department was wiped out on multiple occasions. I think they keep employees based on tenure. There didn't seem to be a rhyme or reason (at least from a performance standpoint) for why some were kept and others laid off. Performance of middle management was always an issue. Nepotism hindered efficacy and culture.
