Enjoyed Working for Apollo Education Group
Pros
The company is a pioneer in the professional development/continuing education industry. As such, they value and promote PD opportunities. When I worked there, they offered free tuition to University of Phoenix (which they own) with the employee only having to pay for some admin/enrollment fees each class. Also, employees are encouraged to sign-up to be part of teams from outside their department that may be working on something new and innovative. That is a great way to grow professionally. I definitely never felt as though I was being held back from growth. Lastly, overall morale of the company seemed to be high when I worked there.
Cons
In my marketing department that supported sales advisors, there were no additional financial incentives such as bonuses, commissions, etc. It would have been nice to implement performance achievement bonuses somehow.
