      Pros

      My coworkers are incredible! They're always ready to help in any way possible.

      Cons

      Management is hit or miss. Some managers are the gold standard, while others are known as the ones you don't want to be stuck with. Pay and promotions are lacking, and there's no transparency when it comes to executives' salaries, so it's really hard to trust the decisions made around compensation.

      Pros

      I have been here for a long time and have experienced all the change that other reviews mention. Although we had to make some tough decisions in 2023, I truly believe we are on a better path forward. I have personally seen leadership continue to do the right thing and make the right choices. We have a big opportunity as a company and it’s exciting to see the investment in direct areas for improvement especially in product/dev. AppFolio is truly a special place to be and it is worth riding this wave!

      Cons

      As we grow, change is inevitable. Additionally there isn’t negotiation opportunities for the yearly increases. AppFolio is starting to encourage more in office attendance, please don’t lose the remote flexibility.
