Decent, not great.

Pros

Safe and motivational environment. Appian is the place if you want to work with kind people who don't stab you in the back. If you want a upper-middle class lifestyle with good benefits, unlimited time off, and understanding people. It is rated one of the best places to work in the DMV and in terms of people and culture that is true. Lots of smart people (from ivy leagues and other experiences) and it is a fun working environment.

Cons

Not empowering. For those that want to achieve greatness, this may not be the place for you. The reason I say that is because you will not be rewarded for working hard, as there are no real opportunities to show that you are different. If you do your work on time, make friends with your team, and look interested in the company's mission, you will get promoted. If you put in extra hours, if you take on hard projects, and if you really try to get visibility, you will still get the same promotion at the same time as the former. Do take this with a grain of salt because I have just started at this company, but this is what I have heard in the past 4-5 months from coworkers, leadership, and senior leadership.
