      Pros

      The main pro of Applebee's is that they will take on people with no serving experience and train them. It is a solid place to learn the ropes and get your start in serving.

      Cons

      This is not a high quality restaurant in terms of food or service quality. They do not hire competent cooks. Often times if you are a server food mistakes will be made and you will suffer because you are the face the customer interacts with.
