Pros

Helping individuals and their families improve their quality of living. Meeting amazing people and friends. They require you to obtain RBT certification which allows you deliver more effective therapy.

Cons

Very low pay compared to other ABA agencies. They play favorites. Strict attendance policies. Management is rude. No room for advancement. No encouragement for advancement. You are either a RBT or BCBA no in between. So if you are looking to advance in the field you must obtain your masters degree and BCBA license. No work if your client cancels. No work life balance.

Pros

Some of the people I worked with were genuinely great people who treated the kids really well.

Cons

The three SBA/SBCs would treat the employees with little respect if they did not like you and rather help you be a better employee they would wait for your next mistake to highlight your faults. It is very sad that this environment exist in a special education school.
