Run Away Unless Extremely Desperate!

Pros

The benefits are still better than some and your local management might be nice for the purpose of employee retention (people not quitting).

Cons

All the stereotypical awful corporate practices "on Steroids". Designed understaffed and cutting hours anyway. More than one meeting stating phenomenally great sales at your location and then either taking something beneficial away and/or adding some new unproductive corporate-spun responsibility to your overfilled "plate". Worst I've seen in over 30 years!

Pros

It's a job and necessity

Cons

The company is completely sexist. Regional managers are either clueless or fail to support branches. Corporate makes stupid choices that charge service centers. Women can only work as service center managers... operation managers are the next step but with limited openings, you're stuck in the scm level even when proven capable. There is no authority allowed to relieve a branch of inventory so corporate keeps charging...and there goes any possibility of bonuses, so don't believe the promise of a bonus. In 4 years my branch has gotten 2 which one was $60 and one was $150. Account managers in my region literally stay home all day/week, do not go see customers or develop new business, yet are still being paid their base salary AND get a car and cell phone allowance. Regional manager thinks women are stupid enough to fall for his "charm" when all he wants is to get more work out of you for less money. I'm completely disgusted. Because the 1 am won't work and no gm in my branch, the rm tried to say the scm's job also includes going to customers to sell, yet isn't qualified for the gm position. No commission offered, no cell allowance, no car. So why do men get away with doing nothing and women put in 50hrs a week having little time to breathe?

Lies from day one

Pros

Very little to no positives, this company is on a fast track to disaster

Cons

Falsities about pay, territory and reporting. Lies all the way around. Terrible management and awful customer service. Screwed up every commission payout and then the excuse of "its just the way the system works" Arrogant, intimidating, lying, poor management. Favoritism, unethical business practices, and negativity. Truly a horrible work environment. Regional management is milk toast, spineless and has no management skills, local management rules by intimidation and lies, Unfortunate for such a large company.
