Pros

- AIS has a strong network of Architects, Software Engineers, Testers, ScrumMasters, Project Managers, Program Managers here to help new hires grow and find fulfilling work across our commercial, and government clientele. - AIS treats its employees well, has multiple career paths from Operations to Solution Teams to help individuals refine their special interests ranging from Data Intelligence to Project Management to Application Development/Architecture.

Cons

- AIS changes its performance review process annually - If you prefer frequent feedback from your manager/peers, it may be challenging to receive feedback without requesting it formally. AIS has invested in an internal platform for employees to view their organization chart by team, request feedback from peers/external stakeholders, and set growth goals. I expect this to improve transparency around expectations for all employees.

Pros

Remote work is allowed in many positions. Never had a single negative interaction with anyone in the company. Everyone, even management, was was friendly and inviting when questions came up about available projects or tasks. No micromanagement allows a lot of freedom to work with new technologies.

Cons

Remote work meant less opportunity to socialize with colleagues.

Pros

(1) Extremely interested in supporting employee career development and progression. AIS does "walk the talk" with granting earned promotions beyond specific tenure with the company and helping to set employees up for future success in their careers. (2) Very generous continuing education support beyond Microsoft training and education, including non-technical areas such as business education. (3) Excellent benefits, including a generous wellness and work annual allowance. (4) Senior Leadership continuous improvement mindset ... always looking to re-evaluate, listen to ideas, and continuously improve. I'm so happy to work for a company that supports full-time remote work!
