Pros

Coming from a toxic work environment, AIS blew me away with its company culture. My direct manager and I have worked closely since the day I started at AIS and I am so grateful for the level of ownership I have and the encouragement for growth. Flexibility is just as important to AIS as it is to me - and that's huge.

Contracting firm. Been around for decades. Huge. Govt contracts. Civilian Contracts. Whole big organization that **APPEARS** to be well run

Cons

I was hired in a full-time position with salary and benefits. But apparently, they hire you for a specific contract (not general and then get contracts and assign you) and then as soon as that specific contract ends, they just lay you off. Stay away unless you want contract work. Don't be lured by the promise of full-time w/ benefits. As soon as you're not needed, you're gone. How anyone manages to stay there more than a year amazes me.
